After backtesting a trading system, you can create a ticker symbol from the strategy's equity by right clicking on the equity chart (in the simulation report) then selecting "Equity to Symbol" option.
This money management script allows you to automate this process by creating a ticker symbol for your strategy's equity each time you backtest or simulate your trading system.
It allows you to enter the ticker symbol name and also can fill it with EOD and intraday depending on your trading system time frame.
The open, high, low and close fields will contain the strategy's equity value at any moment during the backtesting period.
The volume field contains the percentage of invested capital while the open interest field contains the number of open positions.
Each time you backtest your strategy, the ticker symbol will be automatically updated with the new backtesting data (equity data, percentage of invested capital and number of positions for each trading bar).
Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
