This item downloads historical end-of-day data for Bombay Stock Exchange companies. The historical data goes back to 2000 for some symbols. The item downloads quotes very fast because it does not get data for each symbol separately but instead get compiled data for each month. You can specify the start and end date and the URL-Script will create the appropriate URLs to use in the downloading process.

The EOD data is downloaded for approximately 3615 symbols. These symbols are automatically added into your symbol list. However, if you want to get the companies' title, you can download a list of symbols here (BSE Symbols).

The data downloaded for BSE Stock Exchange companies is adjusted for dividends and splits.
The data for the current month is available only at the beginning of the next month.

To download historical quotes for the most recent days, you can use one of the following downloaders:
EOD NSE stock quotes data - Download data for NSE stocks only.
Yahoo EOD historical quotes - Download data for NSE and BSE stocks.

Please note that this downloader is much faster than the two above. These downloaders need a list of symbols in order to work. Follow the items' link to find where to download the appropriate list of symbols.

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
