Example: Download a Trading Item

- Open a trading item page (Example: https://www.quantshare.com/item-73-yahoo-eod-historical-quotes)
- Make sure you are logged in (If not then click on "Click here to log in" at the top of the page)
- Click on "Download" (Located after the object description)
- A popup page will appear and a shortcut file will be downloaded. The shortcut file is in the following format: Trading_Object_Name.qsh
- Using our previous example, the file "Yahoo EOD historical quotes.qsh" is downloaded
- To get the underlying trading item, double click on that file
- QuantShare will open and a new download form will appear (Please read below how to fix the problem when QuantShare do not open when you double click on the file)
- Select the QuantShare application and click on "Download" in the new form.
- After the download is complete, you will be prompted to save the trading item. Simply type a name (or keep the default) then click on "Save".

If nothing happens after you click on the ".qsh" file, then please following the next steps:
- Right click on the downloaded file and select "Properties".
- In the new form, near "Opens with", click on "Change".
- Select "QuantShare" and make sure that the "always use this program to open these files" checkbox is checked.
- Again, double click on the downloaded shortcut file (.qsh).
