Create a Simple Watch-list

A simple watchlist contains a list of symbols. Criteria can be defined using the Symbols Selection control. You cannot use indicators or rules to create a simple watchlist.

To open the watchlist tool
- Select Tools then "WatchList".

Create a simple watchlist

- Click on "Create"
- Click on Create a basic watchlist
- Define your criteria in the Symbols Selection control (more on this below)
- Click on OK to create the watchlist.

The watchlist item can be found after clicking on "Select Watchlist" link. Its name is always "Auto-Generated".

Below the Symbols Selection control you can select pre-defined list of symbols. To create a pre-defined list of symbols, click on the Save button in the Symbols Selection control.

The "Symbols Selection Control" can be found in many plug-in and it is used to select symbols.

To add a new criterion, click on Add Condition and select the condition type.
Example: Select "Market" if you want to select symbols by market names.
If you want to select specific symbols click on "Custom Symbols".

Once a condition is added, you can update it by clicking on its cell area (Name Column).
Under the "Value" column, you can update the condition value.
Example: After you have clicked on "Custom Symbol" click on the cell next to it, type your symbols then click on "OK".
