Download Manager

The downloader manager is a tool that allows you to automate the process of downloading, processing, parsing and inserting data into your historical, intraday or custom databases.

Click on "Download" then "Download Manager" to open this tool.

Your download items are displayed on the left panel. A download item is a component that may be composed of one or several URLs, a parser and one or several scripts.
Usually download items accepts a list of symbols and/or a start & end date and/or custom field. It then download/parse data, create symbols and databases and associate the parsed data with these symbols/databases.

A download item can download almost any kind of data. It can download content from password-protected areas, process RSS, XML, EXCEL and Compressed data (ZIP files for example).

QuantShare sharing server currently contains more than 300 download items. It includes downloader for EOD and intraday Stocks data, current/historical fundamental data, ETF/Options/Futures/Forex data, Economic indicators, News data, Put/Call data...
