"In the script editor (Tools -> Script Editor), you can create a script that gets the symbols then add and remove them from the QuantShare database (using Symbols class). Scripts needs to be implemented in C#
You can automate script execution using (Tools -> Task Manager)"

but I'm not sure how to wget/curl my lists first in C#

I found this url
https://www.quantshare.com/sa-250-download-trading-data-using-the-url-script

but... no advice on how to download a file (curl or wget would be nice). The stackexchanges that detail how to do it in C# are not working (different libraries I assume)

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/9430960/c-sharp-make-wget-request?lq=1

These are my lists of symbols that are updated daily from nasdaq that I'd like to have redownloaded daily into quantshare

curl --silent "ftp://ftp.nasdaqtrader.com/SymbolDirectory/nasdaqlisted.txt" --stderr -> nasdaqlisted.txt
curl --silent "ftp://ftp.nasdaqtrader.com/SymbolDirectory/otherlisted.txt" --stderr -> otherlisted.txt

REM ETF Bonds
curl --silent "https://www.nasdaq.com/investing/etfs/etf-finder-results.aspx?download=Yes" --stderr -> ETFList.csv

What I'm hoping to do is download the 3 lists, then add the symbols into quantshare via a loop

Data is downloaded automatically given the URLs you provide. The URL-script tool allows you to add URLs dyncamically, from a list of symbols for example.
The scripts must be written in CSharp. In URL-script, there is already a ready to use function to get data from a URL:
string res = Functions.Net.DownloadString(url);

We really strongly suggest you check our documentation to understand how downloaders work.

can you guide me in the right direction with a relevant url?

I have this which is pretty sparse

Where did you find this? I looked for a way to download a url in C# online (and provided the links), but I see you had this resource readily available. What I'm asking, is where is your resource?

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
