BSE Stock Exchange

I have shared this list of symbols so it can be used with the following downloader: BSE historical data.
The list contains companies listed in the Bombay Stock Exchange; more than 2900 symbols are available. It contains the symbols' code (A unique identifier assigned by the Bombay Stock Exchange), the company title or full name and the company group.

As I said in the downloader description, this list is not necessary, but since the symbols' code are numeric, it would be nice to know which company is associated to a specific code.

To create this list of symbols, I have just downloaded the 'Daily Bhav Copy' file, unzipped it and then used the 'create a list of symbols from a file' feature to parse the file content and that is it.

Sample of companies listed in the Bombay Stock Exchange:
523395 - 3M INDIA LTD

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
