Traders interested in the Kuwait Stock Market can use this item to download historical end-of-day data of companies listed in the Kuwait Stock Exchange. The list of symbols can be downloaded at the following location (Kuwait Stock Exchange). Although this list is not mandatory (In fact the downloader automatically adds new symbols), it contains the companies' ticker name along with the stock ID (The stock ID is a unique identifier for each company).

You can download historical EOD data for the most recent week or for all the available period, which starts at the beginning of 2007.
To download quotes for all the available historical data, add 'all' in the text box under the 'Period: select all or week'. This normally should be done only once, the first time you use the item.
To download only the most recent week data, add 'week' in the text box under the 'Period: select all or week'. This should be used after you have downloaded the complete historical data.
In both cases, historical data is downloaded very quickly. The data is retrieved from the saudimeta.com website and not directly from Kuwait Stock Exchange website.

Other Mideast stock exchange end-of-day downloaders:
Saudi Stock Exchange - Tadawul
Dubai Financial Market
Muscat Securities Market - MSN Stock Exchange

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
