                                                   Simulator: Different exit orders for different rules, partial exits

I have two questions regarding the implementation of a trading strategy in the simulator:
1) How can I use different exit orders for different rules to be triggered?
Simple example:
Rule1: Close<EMA20 -> I want to exit on next open
Rule2: Close<EMA50 -> I want to create a stop-order for the exit with, say, stop price=close*1.01

2) How can I accomplish partial exits? For example, sell 50% of the position if a certain condition/rule is met.

Thanks
Christoph

Hi Christoph,

1/ For this, you must use a money management script. Here is an example you may want to check:
Transform any order into a limit order selectively based on a trading rule

2/ Using a money management script too. You can use this one:
Staggered Entry and Exit Strategy

Thanks! That helped a lot.
Now I realized that the money management scripts are really powerful - much more than I'd expected from the name.

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
