Update Time-Frame

Updated on 2010-10-22

We have already seen how to update the time-frame of a chart. We will show you here another way to do this.

- Right click on a chart
- Select "Chart Timeframe"
- Select the Time-frame you want to apply to the current chart
- To select a custom time-frame, type any number in the input box (first item). Historical time-frame is expressed in days, while intraday time-frame is expressed in seconds.

To switch between historical and intraday charts:
- Right click on a chart
- Select "Switch to Historical" or "Switch to Intraday".

In the chart title, you can see the symbol of the asset that is associated with the chart, the current time-frame and the descriptive name of the asset
Example:
GOOG - 1 Minute - Google Inc.

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
