I have a system that trades using weekly bars. However, it seems in real trading, the signal is not generated till I receive Monday's data after close of the markets. I would like the signal to be generated when the system sees the Friday's data after the markets close.

For that, please create an EOD trading system-based portfolio then generate the order manually or using a script after Friday's data.

I am sorry but I did not understand... The system is based on weekly data... I am not sure how to reconcile that with EOD prices.

Thank you for your continued support.

You should not create an automated trading system but rather an EOD portfolio.

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
