- How do I refer to a composite value in a chart formula?
For example, I have created a composite that is associated with the symbol " _P_HUGHES_BREADTH_NYSE" . If I create a chart with this symbol it defaults to candlesticks.
What will be the exact syntax to draw it as a line? (... efforts like study = _P_HUGHES_BREADTH_NY or study = ticker ("_P_HUGHES_BREADTH_NY") result in errors).

- How do I refer to a composite value in a strategy?
When using "add a rule" I can create a new composite; but how do I relate to an existing one?

- To draw it as a line, you can select View -> Chart Style -> Line, or you can edit the chart formula and type:
Plot(close, "Close");

- To refer a composite in a trading rule, you can use one of the following formulas: (They are the same)
a = Ticker("_P_HUGHES_BREADTH_NY", close, LastData);
a = GetSeries("_P_HUGHES_BREADTH_NY", close);

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
