If I Have strategy having following rules how to program in quant share
1) 5 period ema cross 9 peroid ema
2) two green candle above 5 period ema after cross over

a = cross(ema(6), ema(9));
gc = close > open and close > ema(5);
buy = gc and ref(gc, 1) and ref(a, 2); // ref references the N previous bar

The easiest way to learn this is to practice by displaying these values on a chart. Right click on the chart, select "Edit formula" then type the above formula and the following to display the value of the variable "a"
plot(a, "");

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
