Hi,
Really like QS but am having getting my arms around all the great features..and modules..
I am capable of coding in QS language and will never do much in C sharp as I am not a programmer..
I have looked at the various How To posts and they are helpful..
What would be great is if you could start with a very basic system written in QS language that is optimisable and show me/us how you employ rules manager,
money management, ranking, custom metrics, the artificial intelligence module and anything else you find essential..I am guessing the advanced money management module is over my head

Any thoughts appreciated

Allan

Hi,

The rules manager is a separate module. It is often used to analyze individual rules and detect which ones are profitable. The good ones can then be used in a trading system.
It can also be used to optimize several trading rules in a trading system:

You don't have to develop your own money management scripts as there are many scripts available in the sharing server.

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
