I would like to automatically populate the database field, I am OK if this has to be achieved by running the update after I download the quotes. I would like to do something as follows:

create a field called "RSIRanking" in QUOTES or CUSTOM db
then populate the value using the function comp(RSI(14), "rank").

Thanks. This should serve the purpose. I will test it out. A quick question

It appears to me that this will create the composites for all the days, every time I run this script. I want to see if there is any way this can be modified so that I can update on a daily basis the composite field quickly. The first time when I run, it does for the entire historical data and then only for the new data that does not have the field already populated.

With this script, updating the last value or all the values of a database will take the same amount of time. We will optimize the database insertion so this script can be run faster.

You can also add a script to be executed after a download item completes. To do this, update a download item, click on Settings then select the Script tab.
