This item downloads historical end-of-day quotes for companies listed in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX). The HKEX is a stock exchange based in Hong Kong, China. It is owned by the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Ltd after the merger of the Hong Kong Futures Exchange and the Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company.
The data is downloaded for a period that spans from 2002 (for some companies) to present and symbols are automatically added into your symbols database. However, you can download a list of symbols that I have created specially for this item. The list contains the symbol names as well as the companies' title. This list of ticker symbols can be found at the following URL: Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Historical quotes are downloaded for the 1354 Hong Kong companies and for the HKEX main index: Hang Seng (symbol: HSI). The EOD data is adjusted, which means that the close price has been adjusted for dividends and splits.
Note that the data is downloaded monthly and the new data update is available only at the beginning of the new month.
Example: November data will be available only at the beginning of December.
