                                                   Downloader........

The downloader is the chief difficulty of using QuantShare!

Scenario: Normally I use a downloader for daily (EOD) quotes. But sometimes these quotes are too old (i .e. on Frifay evening where I want data soon for
scanning weekly candles) Then I download intraday data.

When I do not download data again this day, then the intraday data will not be updated the next day?
I have had some Doji's here which disappeared when downloading EOD a few days back.....

Hm, thats a trap.

How can I "tell the downloader" to download 3 or 5 days back (every time!) and overwrite the intraday data of yesterday (i. e.) ???

I hope you understand me.

Regards
Joerg

To overwrite data of yesterday, you have to use the daily downloader. The intraday one gets data only for the current day (It gets only one quote).

Also, the "Download Data" menu of the chart uses the default downloader settings. This means that if "Last Symbol date" option is checked in the historical downloader then the item will get data starting from the last quote date.

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
