I'm running QuantShare on a screen in portrait mode. I don't use the chart diagrams and so I didn't want them taking up my limited horizontal space. So I moved them to the top, just below the menu line. But now I've got a stack of buttons at the top of my screen. Here's what the mess currently looks like:

Of course, If I go to Window -> Hide Buttons I can get rid of all of them...

But I really hate having to throw out EVERYTHING. Frankly, there's just one item that really provides any value to me, and that's the input box for the symbol name and then the box next to it when has the full name of the currently loaded symbol. Is there some way that I can get rid of all of the button except for the symbol name / full name object that I actually want? You'd make me incredibly happy to clear up all the unused on-screen real-estate! :)

Thanks again,
Josh McCormick

Best Answer
Select "File -> Application Settings" then you can remove some controls in the "Toolstrip" and "Charting" tabs

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
