Requirements

- MB Trading account with a username and password
- MBT Navigator installed

Download MBT Desktop: http://www.mbtrading.com/mbtDesktop.aspx
Download MBT Pro Desktop: http://www.mbtrading.com/mbtDesktopPro.aspx

Note that you cannot use simultaneously MBT Desktop and QuantShare


Connection Instructions

1. Start QuantShare
2. Select in the menu "Accounts -> Connect" then select "MBTrading"
3. In Connection Settings and under "Provider Settings" tab, type your username and password


Common Problems Connecting to MBTrading

Make sure:
- You have downloaded the latest version of MBT Desktop application
- MBT Desktop not running when starting QuantShare


MBTrading Symbology

You can the list of MBTrading support symbols here:
http://www.mbtrading.com/help/lookupCompany.asp

Example:

Google stock (Symbol: GOOG)
Soybean Oil (Symbol: /ZLK4)
Dow Jones Industrial Average (Symbol: $DJI)
EUR/USD pair (Symbol: EUR/USD)

For options, the symbol format is as follows:

+ROOT-YYMMDD?STRIKE

Where ? is either C (Call) or P (Put)

Example:

+GOOG-110630P132.00

For PUT GOOG June 30, 2011 with a strike of 132.
