                                                   Trading system/formula that only places entry orders in the morning?

Hi,

I'm trying to optimize a trading system and have found the the system works significantly better during certain hours of the day.

Does anyone know how one would program a formula that restricts or only allows entry orders in the AM only?

You can use the "hour" function.

Example:
rule1 = YOUR_RULE;
buy = hour() > 9 and hour() <= 12 and rule1;
