If there is a change of ticker symbol and if Yahoo does not update the historical data
What can one do ?
For examble Blackberry changed its stock ticker symbol to "BB" from "BBRY". Under "BB" the chart in Quantshare is displayed only from October-16-2017, because
the data previous to October-16-2017 (corresponding to BBRY) is not available under "BB" .

Since the Yahoo downloader gets ticker name from the "Name1" field you can create a BB ticker, set the Name1 field to BBRY (Symbol -> Update Symbol). Download historical data so that BB is filled with BBRY data. Then unset the "Name1" field and download data again. Since the Name1 field will be empty the downloader will get data for BB this time.

I have just noticed that the ticker for bbry now is working with the data of bb as if nothing had changed may be you fixed that.
