It would have been helpful in certain situations if we can have one more parameter for "istrue" as follows:
a =istrue(close>sma(10),20,10) meaning price should have closed above 10-day sma for 10 of the past 20 days. Basically, for identifying condition as true for non-consecutive bars.

You can do the same by typing:
a = sum(close>sma(10), 20) == 10;
