I've created a downloader for MSN. I've checked my downloader function and the parser does work. However, as I choose "Download data for all symbols" in my watch list the downloader opens but the list of symbols in the downloader is empty and thus no data is downloaded. What is wrong?

In the downloader, you must specify a "Symbol" field under "Fields" column.

Check "Historical Stock Market Data" item to see how this field is defined.

I have specified a "Symbol"-field, so that's not the problem.

When you choose "Download data for all symbols", what condition is specified in the Symbols tab of the Download Manager?

What happens if you perform the same operation with the "Historical Stock Market Data" downloader?

It says "Custom symbols", "Custom symbols (click to edit)", under the Count tab I have the number 43.

Can I post the downloader? It's difficult explaining in words ...

You should set value "1" in "FileDownload" tab or update the downloader and set type of "FileDownload" to "Nothing" under "Fields".

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
