Thanks for the past work. I have downloaded many different rank models from P123 and I think there is a very important change which you should make to make this plug-in much more valid and useful.
When you request the rank data from P123 it assumes that the allstocks universe is the default. This means that all pink sheet and bulletin board stocks are included which makes the ranks for liquid i.e PRussell3000 very different.
than they were meant to be.
There are two ways to make the values of the data pulled by the plug-in accurate:
One would request that the universe be "no OTC exchange" which would solve the problem and leave rankings for most tradable stocks be what they really are.
The other and even more useful would be to allow the Quantshare user to specify his preferred universe...i.e.PRussell3000 or SP500.
If you need help with this Marc Gerstein, a consultant to P123 has offered to make himself available to you to assit.
His # is 718 651 5629 718 651 5629
This is really needed for anyone who build a ranking model with a universe other than allstocks..
Many thanks and keep up the excellent work on this fabulous product.

Hi,
We will implement the second solution. You will be able to select the Universe (Pre-Defined or Custom), update the NA's from Pre-Announcements option, select the "Filters Applied After Ranking" and download the Composite & Factor Ranks along with the model ranks (Factor ranks will be saved in the same database).

Thank you that's terrific. How will you indicate that the changes have been implemented?

If there is anyway that this can be implmented sooner I would be very appreciative as I am working on a time sensitive research project building a model in P123. I would be happy to make a donation to show my appreciation as this share-ware gem certainly deserves support
Many thanks for your consideration
