Sir,

May you provide us a down loader that down load the current NSE quote (ie, day's high,day'low,day's open and LAST PRICE,and volume) from GOOGLE,
that down load current quote directly in to Quote (historic ) so that can analysis the data at middle of trading hours without waiting for EOD QUOTE.

Sir,
I have downloaded same and tried it .I have changed the suffix in to "NS".Even then no data was downloaded.Please advice me if I need to make any changes to Database symbols

I found the problem and it should be fixed as soon as possible.

To make it work for the National Stock Exchange:
- Select the download item
- Click on "Update"
- Click on "Settings"
- Click on "Create a URL Script"
- Replace the following line:
string suffix = Functions.GetValues("Stock Exchange Suffix");
by
string suffix = "NS";

- Click on "OK" in all forms to close them.

I tried it also.But data were not downloaded.then I checked one line of parser . And got the following result.

Then I changed Name1 of zyduswell as zyduswell.ns and downloaded once again
But No result.Data bases were not up todated.
I hope these details may help you easily detect the defects in downloader.

Best Answer

- It doesn't work because "ZYLOG.NS" for example is not found in the database.
The ".NS" must be removed and this can be done in the Pre-Script code.
- Click on Parser, select a URL then click on Next.
- Click on "Pre Script"
- Add the following line just before "// Date"
Content.Rows[i].Data[0] = Content.Rows[i].Data[0].Replace(".NS", "");

- Also in the URL Script update the following line: (To reject symbols that contain "&")
s = s + symbols[i] + "." + suffix + "+";

and change it to:

if(!symbols[i].Contains("&"))
{
s = s + symbols[i] + "." + suffix + "+";
}
