The Nasdaq Composite Index is a capitalization-weighted index that comprises all stocks listed on the NASDAQ. It was launched in 1971 and it includes stocks that are exclusively listed on the NASDAQ Stock Market (Security that trades on other exchanges and that are listed prior to January 1, 2004 are also included).
Nasdaq Composite Index can be traded through the exchange-traded fund "ONEQ". Other popular NASDAQ indexes include NASDAQ-100,

Currently, there are over 3000 securities in the NASDAQ Composite Index.
