Trade-Ideas allows you to perform intraday scans using several criteria; these criteria include volatility, Average True Range, 15 minute range, 30 minute range, gap up, gap down, 15 minute RSI, range contraction, up from the close, up previous day, standard deviation, below high, above low, position in range, consolidation, market cap, shares outstanding, current assets, revenue, income, EPS, price/earning ratio, dividend, beta...

The RSS feed of the result of a trade-ideas scan is used by this item to populate a custom database. In this example, I looked for stocks that had at least three consecutive 30 minute up candles during the last trading day. The stocks that meet this condition get a value of one on the "ti_30m_upcandles" field of the "ti_intraday" database. This field and database are automatically created by this item.
Each time you run this downloader, you will get the symbols that meet your criteria on the last trading day.
You can use the scanner or the watchlist plug-in to display these stocks. In the "Symbol Selection" control, simply select "Trade-Ideas" then the "More than two consecutive 30-minute up candles" field.
You can easily add your own scan results. To do this, create a new field in the "ti_intraday" database; update the downloader and add the new URL (the RSS link you get after performing the scan). Click on "Parser" and then update the field of the third column.
