This list contains ticker symbols of companies that trade in the China stock market.
These symbols are listed in the following exchanges:
Shanghai Stock Exchange
Shenzhen Stock Exchange
Hong Kong Stock Exchange
These three exchanges are the China stock market biggest exchanges and have a cumulated market capitalization of more than $4.5 trillion. They are based in Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
This China stock market item contains 818 ticker symbols from the Shanghai Stock Exchange, 628 ticker symbols from the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and 253 ticker symbols from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The companies' name, description, industry, end of the fiscal year month is also included.
The 'name1' field contains the yahoo-compatible ticker symbol name.
I used the Yahoo EOD downloader, who is of course available in the QuantShare server, and got pretty good results.
The downloader downloads almost every symbol historical quotes.
The downloaded data contains only few bad ticks.
Only China stock market companies are available in this list and thus exchanges indexes are not included.
