When adding an indicator to a pane, this new indicator should indicate the pane's chart

i. e. i have a pane with the momentum. When adding an ema, it must be the ema of the momentum, not the chart.
Only the first indicator in a new pane is an indicator of the chart.

example in tradesignal:

Or like in Tradesignal: when i have more than one pane and i add an indicator the program "asks" where to add it (which pane).

Joerg

What you are adding to your pane are formulas (not exactly indicators). A formula can contain one or several indicators.

To create for example an EMA based on the momentum indicator, click on "Add Indicator" (first icon on chart), select EMA, click on the "+" icon near "close" parameter then select Momentum.

Hm, a little bit tricky.
Would be better if the indicator (or formula) would ask when adding it.

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
